Sage Handyman Services is owned and run by Ethan Pingel, a mechanical engineer who spent four years as an apartment maintenance tech before starting Sage in Charlotte.
The story
A tech's hands and an engineer's eye.
I learned this work the honest way: four years of turnovers, make-readies and work orders in occupied and vacant apartments in South City St. Louis. I learned what tenants break, what owners need, and what "done" actually looks like.
Then I became a mechanical engineer. Engineering taught me to scope a job before I touch it, and to fix the cause of a problem instead of covering it up.
Sage brings both to Charlotte property owners. You get one flat price, photos as I work, and the person you hired is the person who shows up.
